The Seminar takes place at Petäjävesi, which is located in the heart of Central Finland, nearby Jyväskylä, and is known for its beautiful nature, strong traditions in the field of craftsmanship and especially for its World Heritage Site, the Old Church of Petäjävesi. For our guests the best option to reach Petäjävesi is to fly to Helsinki airport and continue to Jyväskylä by bus or train. There is a bus connection for seminar quests from Jyväskylä train & bus station(Travel center) to the Old Church at 16.45h. For those arriving later on Sunday, there is a daily bus connection to Petäjävesi from Jyväskylä train & bus station, information about schedules and tickets from the matkahuolto website
On Sunday November 18th we gather at 17.30h for a get together and a Church concert at Petäjävesi Old Church, Vanhankirkontie 9, 41900 Petäjävesi.
On Monday November 19th we start the seminar at 9.00h at the Petäjävesi Culture Centrum (Miilu Auditorium), Miilutie 4, Petäjävesi. For the seminar guests that are staying at Petäjävesi or Korpilahti there is a shuttle bus service to the Culture Centrum in the morning – and back to the accommodations after the seminar day.
On Tuesday November 20th, there is a bus connection for seminar guests from Petäjävesi Culture Centrum to Jyväskylä bus & train station (Travel center) at 16.00h. The journey from Petäjävesi to Jyväskylä takes 40-50minutes.
